What it does
- Trip Overview: traveller, employer or client, purpose, destination, dates, trip length and countdown, plus your home and destination time zones and the time difference.
- Day-by-day plan: days fill in from your trip dates (up to 21 days), showing each day’s itinerary items, meetings and which hotel you’re in that night.
- Itinerary: 40 rows for flights, trains, taxis, car rental and hotel stays, with local times, confirmation numbers, seat or room, and a status (Booked, Tentative, To book, Cancelled). Items still “To book” are highlighted.
- Meetings: 40 rows with date, local time, time zone, attendees, location or video link and prep notes. The time back home, including “next day” or “previous day”, is calculated for you.
- Time Zones: 47 common cities with standard and daylight-saving UTC offsets, a daylight-saving switch for your dates, a reminder check and a quick time converter.
- Loyalty & Memberships, Packing List, Contacts & Emergency: programme numbers (never passwords), a 43-item business packing list with a packed count, and emergency and trip contacts.

This is a planning tool. Always confirm flight, train, hotel and meeting times with the airline, hotel or organiser, and follow your employer’s travel policy. Time-zone offsets are typed in, not looked up online, so check them for your travel dates (the planner reminds you).
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on a Mac?
Yes. It works in Microsoft Excel 2016 or later for Mac and in Excel for the web in any browser.
I don’t have Excel. Can I still use it?
Yes. Excel for the web is free with a Microsoft account: sign in at office.com, upload the file to OneDrive and open it. The PDF guide explains how.
Does it look up time zones automatically?
No. It includes 47 common cities with their standard and daylight-saving UTC offsets, and you choose whether daylight saving applies for your dates. Nothing is looked up online, so please check the offsets for your trip.
How long a trip can it handle?
The day-by-day plan covers up to 21 days, with 40 itinerary rows and 40 meeting rows.
Does it use macros?
No. It uses ordinary formulas only, with no macros, add-ins or subscriptions.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
It hasn’t been tested in Google Sheets yet. It is built and tested for Microsoft Excel.
Should I store passwords in it?
No. The Loyalty & Memberships sheet is for programme numbers and status only, never passwords.
How do I get the files?
Buy it on Etsy, then go to You › Purchases and reviews (or use the link in your order email) and click Download files. It’s a digital download; nothing is shipped.
